Dear GhanaWeb reader,
August is upon us and we are only four months away from the December elections. There is subtle campaigning ongoing across the country and online with both the ruling NPP and opposition NDC throwing jabs at each other.
Dancehall top dog, Shatta Wale, gained some attention and love after Beyonce released the music video of their collaboration “Already”. The song, also featuring Major Lazer, garnered over 6 million views on YouTube in less than 48 hours after it was released. The “Dancehall King” indeed made Ghana proud with collaboration as some of the scenes in the video were shot in Ghana by Ghanaians with Ghanaian dancers. Way to go!
We can’t leave out the historical appointment of Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson who becomes the first female vice-chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). We are proud of you madam!
