Dear GhanaWeb reader,
It’s been a slippery slope week with a lot of thought-provoking news that seek to question the actions of Ghanaian adults and their effect on teenagers and children.
There has been a wide condemnation of the video-taped actions of high school students who insulted President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, attacked invigilators and a journalist and vandalized school property over “unexpected” exam questions. They were sanctioned after series of apologies attracting sympathy from the president.
While focus is on the new developments, caution has been thrown to the wind with respect to social engagements. People have widely stopped wearing their nose masks despite the rising number of coronavirus cases.
Don’t forget to take all the necessary precautionary measures to stay safe and alive.
- Always wear a nose mask
- Avoid crowded places
- Keep a distance between yourself and other people
- Always wash your hands with soap under running water
- Use alcohol-based hand-sanitizers in the absence of water
- Stay at home when there is no need to be outside
Our best wishes for a positive week ahead. Please send any news, comments, suggestions, criticisms and ideas to editor@ghanaweb.com. You can follow us on all social media platforms at @theghanaweb for updates throughout the day.
