Dear GhanaWeb reader,
Thank you for following Ghana’s first and most popular news portal over the years and we honour you with our first newsletter.
GhanaWeb was established in 1999 and it has maintained its position as the leading online news platform in the country, all thanks to you, our reader.
With you in mind, your most reliable news portal has included video content and social media components to its news feed as well as a mobile app for your smooth web navigation.
Its team of web developers and web designers regularly improve the technology and design of the portal to meet your requirement and to catch up with the changing technological times.
This necessitated the creation of the GhanaWeb Reporter App for you to (re)publish your user-generated content (UGC) on social media directly on www.ghanaweb.com to be viewed by our 4 million monthly unique visitors like yourself.
To be launched later this year, the GhanaWeb Reporter App - which has won Google funding to help journalism thrive in the digital age - will amplify the voices of Ghanaian on the issues that matter to them.
We promise to continue being your most reliable news platform. Thank you for helping us maintain our independence and objectivity.
