Dear GhanaWeb reader,
As an independent media that prides itself on being the most popular website in Ghana with no affiliation to any political party or entity, GhanaWeb promises to improve its content to serve you better.
With the election at hand, GhanaWeb launched an open-access poll in May with the first question being: should the EC go ahead with the new register?
This poll gained 141,132 responses in 48 hours and over 2,000 people expressed divergent views about the Electoral Commission and the new voters’ register in the comment section.
The open-access poll allows participants to self-select into participation and the results of the poll cannot be generalized, but are only representative of the participants of the poll.
The bi-weekly poll seeks to enable GhanaWeb readers to predict the opinions of Ghanaians on issues and decisions that affect the country.
This is a precursor to the more scientific Ghana Election Poll which would be launched this week to predict Ghana’s 2020 Election. Visit the polls page for more.
